Each week we look ahead to see what events are happening at TMC or that Team TMC is participating in:

All week: It is Bike to Work Week all over Tucson

Wednesday, April 6th. 6:30-9:30pm Breastfeeding Class taught by Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). Covered are basic breastfeeding positions, helping baby latch on, how to tell if feedings are going well, and how to balance working and breastfeeding. This class is taken before the birth of your baby.Pre-registration is required. Fee: $25.00

Thursday, April 7th. 10-11:30am Breastfeeding Support Group Are you a breastfeeding mom with questions? Are you looking for support? Join an informal gathering of mothers and babies. No registration necessary. The Breastfeeding Support Group is hosted weekly by a certified lactation consultant. Location: Fireplace Room of the Patio Building. Enter the TMC campus on Beverly off of Grant Road. The Patio Building is immediately to the right. Parking is available in the lot in front of the Emergency Department. Friday, April 8th Pima County Walk & Roll to School Day Join Safe Kids Tucson at Whitmore Elementary School as we encourage children and families to walk, bike and stroll to school. Contact Safe Kids Tucson Coordinator Yomy Diaz for more information Yomaira.diaz@tmcaz.com

Saturday, April 9th Drexel Heights Fire District Community Safety Fair; Manzanita Plaza (Valencia & Cardinal Roads). Sing along with Billy the Singing Fireman, explore fire and police vehicles, and enjoy salsa tasting. Safe Kids Tucson and TMC will be on site with booster seats and bike helmets for kids.

Sunday, April 10th Team TMC will be participating in Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure – 13th Annual; Reid Park; event opens at 6:00am with bus and shuttle service from El Con. 1 mile non-competitive walk begins at 7am.
